Colorado man dies after skiing accident in Park City, police say

PARK CITY, Utah — A Colorado man is dead after crashing into a tree while skiing at Park City Resort, Saturday morning.

At about 10:20 a.m., rescue crews responded to the advanced trail, where the 48-year-old was injured. Ski Patrol initiated emergency medical attention but the Aspen man  succumbed to his injuries and was not taken to a hospital, according to a press release from Park City police.

The man was skiing with family when the accident occurred.

The name has not been released pending notification of all family members.
