SALT LAKE CITY -- Thousands of Justin Bieber fans swarmed the Vivint Smart Home Arena Saturday evening to see the famous pop star in person.

A mass of Beliebers crowded outside for hours—some standing in line three hours early—before waiting even longer because of nearly an hour-long delay in opening the venue.

Once the doors swung open, the crowd of zealous fans screamed and shouted with joy.

Fans of all ages turned out, from young children, to parents and even grandparents.

One 8-year-old girl came dressed in special homemade shoes and a T-shirt that paid homage to Bieber.

FOX 13 also found a grandmother, daughter and granddaughter who shared a huge case of Bieber Fever, to which the concert was the cure.

Even a few fathers bravely stepped inside, to catch the concert with their kids.

Bieber made a stop in Salt Lake City as part of his Purpose Tour.

The show sold out, though several scalpers stood outside Vivint to sell off last-minute tickets to happy fans.

Tickets to the show were the focus of several April Fools' Day pranks, as a few unsuspecting Utahns were flooded with calls Friday after pranksters posted online ads for non-existent tickets.
