The beautiful costumes worn during the Paint the Night Parade have a lot of work that goes into them. Tracey Halas, choreographer of the paint the night parade gave Brooke and Brittany an up close look at these amazing costumes.

With the parade being all about amazing light choreography the dancers wear costumes that light up from head to toe. Battery packs are worn usually within the back of the costumes that light us the entire costume including their eyelashes. The lights in the costume are choreographed with the lights of the float and the music.

Rehearsals start three months before the parade so the dancers can get used to the movements and weight of the costumes.  It takes approximately 20 minutes to put on one costume and if you include hair and makeup it is a 45 minute process.
