Police seek public’s help indentifying suspect in West Jordan smoke shop robbery

WEST JORDAN, Utah — Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect in an armed robbery at a West Jordan smoke shop Monday evening.

At about 6:38 p.m., the man entered Smoke Spot Vape Street, 4663 W. 6200 South, and held the clerk at gunpoint. He demanded the employee empty the register and give him the money, according to a press release from West Jordan police.

The clerk complied and left the scene with an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect is described to be in his 20s and about 5 feet 9 inches tall to 6 feet 2 inches. He was last seen wearing a gray athletic hooded sweatshirt, sunglasses, dark pants and dark shoes.
