Two cyclists on a countryside ride found themselves trying to outrun an ostrich as they barreled down the road.
According to National Geographic, the video was shot at Cape of Good Hope in South Africa and the cyclists were pedaling downhill at 30 mph.
“Maybe he was trying to show off to his girlfriend,” said Oleksiy Mishchenko, who shot the video with a GoPro camera, in an interview with National Geographic.
The ostrich gave the cyclists a run for their money, but eventually veered off the road and gave the cyclists a chance to catch their breath.
