SALT LAKE CITY — A woman suffered injuries described as being serious but not life-threatening Thursday evening after a vehicle rolled over near Saltair.

Sgt. Todd Royce of the Utah Highway Patrol said the 19-year-old woman was driving eastbound on I-80 near Saltair when she lost control of the vehicle and it rolled.

The woman was trapped in her vehicle briefly, but firefighters were able to extricate her. Her injuries are described as being serious but not life-threatening.

There were no reports of any other injuries or reports of lane closures in connection with the crash.

Royce said the crash may possibly be related to a road rage incident, but he did not provide any further details about that incident or how it related to the crash. A photo from a FOX 13 News viewer shows the scene of the crash.
