SANDY, Utah -- Every kid dreams of meeting Santa Claus, but a group of children attending a holiday party at the Hyatt Hotel in Sandy, Utah had a chance encounter with a different Christmas character on Saturday.
Scott Stevens has been bringing the Grinch to life, in grouchy detail, for seven years.
As the Grinch, Stevens doesn't deliver many presents, but there are a lot of laughs to go around. At the Hyatt party, the Grinch taught a dance, played hide and seek with kids, and granted a memorable interview to Fox 13 News without ever breaking character.
Stevens appears at private parties and also donates some of his time as the Grinch to local charities.
