SALT LAKE CITY, Utah -- The University of Utah Utes ended their regular season at home with a win Saturday as they defeated Colorado 20-14.

The Utes got on the scoreboard first, as Travis Wilson completed a 16-yard TD pass to Kenneth Scott in the first quarter. A field goal from 37-yards out by Andy Phillips in the second quarter was good, giving Utah a 10-0 lead.

Colorado answered back a few minutes later, though, scoring on a 28-yard TD pass from Cade Apsay to Nelson Spruce. That 10-7 lead for Utah would hold up into halftime.

Utah scored first in the second half, notching another touchdown--this time courtesy of a 5-yard rush from Joe Williams in the third quarter. Another Andy Phillips field goal, this time from 27 yards, was good to give Utah a 20-7 lead in the third quarter.

Colorado managed to close the gap in the fourth quarter, scoring another touchdown on a 16-yard pass from Jordan Gehrke to Phillip Lindsay.

Utah managed to hold on for the win, finishing the contest 20-14.

Utah ends their regular season with a 9-3 record overall and a 6-3 record in conference. That record is their best since joining the Pac-12.

Utah will likely play in a bowl game, but that announcement will come Sunday, December 5.
