Parents are warning each other about a popular toy that’s wreaking havoc on their kids’ hair.

The New York Daily News reported that Bunchems are small, brightly colored balls with squishy spikes that allow them to be connected. The balls lock together to create shapes.

The toy’s Amazon.com description warns to “keep away from hair” because they may become entangled.

Parents took to Amazon’s comment section to sound off about what happened when the toy got stuck in kids’ hair.

“Horrible, horrible, horrible toy for kids. I just spend the last TWO AND A HALF hours (absolutely, 100 percent not an exaggeration) attempting to remove 14 of these bastard balls out of my daughter’s hair. Buy this toy for someone if you hate them or their child. They are the most incredible choking hazards on the planet. They bring pain and misery, tears, fighting, broken and ripped hair, and questions of one’s sanity in handling life in general. I can’t feel my arms now after attempting to pull this spawn from hell “toy” that matted itself into her hair like nothing ever witnessed before. The photo is her hair with conditioner coating the balls in what proved to be an almost fruitless effort to [extract] the evil. If you wish to proceed, good luck,” the review by Ethan Benoit read.

The company released a video after a slew of complaints to show how to remove Bunchems from your hair.

Parents also posted photos to social media of their experiences with Bunchems and hair.
