MIDVALE, Utah – Unified officers are searching for two suspects they said robbed a fast food restaurant overnight.

Authorities were called about the robbery at the Arby’s near 745 E. and Fort Union Blvd. just before 11 p.m.

Officers said the store was closed and the clerk was doing paperwork in the back when the suspects appeared, flashed a handgun and demanded money.

Police said all the store doors were locked which leads them to believe the suspects were hiding in the restaurant bathroom.

“The only place to hide in there would be in the restrooms,” Unified Lt. John Barker said. “We have to check with the other employees who aren’t here at this time to make sure they didn’t check those restrooms before they left.”

The suspects got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

One suspect is described as a 5’3″ woman and the other is a man who was about 5’10” tall.

Unified officers said they would like to speak with anyone who might have information in this case.
