How to check on friends and loved ones in Paris

PARIS — If you are concerned about someone you know who may have been in Paris during the attacks Friday night, here are some resources:

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints reports all missionaries based in Paris are safe and are staying inside until further notice.

Brigham Young University spokeswoman Carri Jenkins said there are 12 students studying abroad in Paris and five students working on internships in Paris.  All of them have been accounted for.

University of Utah study abroad program representative Jana Cunningham said no U of U students are currently living or studying in Paris, but some are in a French town about four hours from Paris.
