SALT LAKE CITY – Janet Jackson’s scheduled concert in Salt Lake City has been rescheduled for June 29, 2016 after she postponed the tour stop due to illness, tweeting that she needed to rest her vocal chords.
According to a press release from Vivint Smart Home Arena, the venue for the concert, The Janet Jackson: Unbreakable World Tour was originally scheduled for October but was postponed.
Her show in Denver has also been rescheduled for Jan. 9, 2016.
Officials said all original tickets will be honored on that date.
Jackson tweeted Saturday night that the move was “doctor’s orders.”
