DRAPER, Utah - The pope`s address to congress touched many catholic high school students in Draper.

Juan Diego students watched the historic speech Thursday morning.

They said they were moved by his speech.

They liked hearing his position on several issues including, the death penalty, the refugee crisis, immigration and the environment but their favorite part was when he talked about the “Golden Rule.”

“When he brought up the point of treating others as you want to be treated- that's one of my favorite mantras,” said tenth grader Lauryn Murphy. “I thought he was very inspiring just to like really get the message of love out there.”

“I just want to say that I think people should listen to this,” said tenth grader, Thomas Moore.  “I think it's a good message.”

On Friday the students will also listen to the Pontiff’s speech addressing the United Nations
