SEATTLE – At least four people are dead and 12 are critically injured after a charter bus and a “Ride the Ducks” vehicle collided in Seattle.

Dozens of others were taken to area hospitals with non-life-threatening injuries and still more were checked out by medics at the scene.

A majority of the significant injuries were sustained by passengers on the charter bus, officials said.

North Seattle College chartered the bus, and about 45 students were on board, according to KCPQ.

Emergency crews were called to the accident on the Aurora Bridge at about noon Thursday.

Tourists on-board the ‘Ride the Ducks’ vehicle could be seen crawling out of the wreckage after it collided with the charter bus.

Officials have not confirmed what caused the accident.

The company owns at least 20 amphibious vehicles.

In July, a Ride the Ducks vehicle hit a pedestrian.
