LAYTON, Utah – Thanks to tips from the public, a man wanted for questioning in a fraud case is in custody.
Davis county deputies say 38 year-old Carter Lee Child is accused of multiple cases of using fraudulent checks and fake I.D’s.
Police say child was at the Common Cents gas station in Layton using bogus documents.
Police released this surveillance footage and posted pictures to Facebook to bring attention to the case and thanks to tips from the public, he’s now in the Davis County Jail on a warrant.
