DRAPER, Utah -- Officers from the Draper Police Department received training on constitutional rights Tuesday.

The training was provided by representatives from the American Civil Liberties Union and the Libertas Institute of Utah.

"Law enforcement is here to protect the rights of individuals and support the Constitution of the United States, which is the same with the ACLU and Libertas," said Draper Police Chief Bryan Roberts. "We might not always agree on the road or the path, but we still have those same goals in mind and that mission."

Roberts believes the information they received from ACLU and Libertas should be shared with all of Utah's law enforcement agencies.
