WEST JORDAN, Utah — West Jordan police recovered a vehicle stolen from a customer during a Little Caesars robbery over the weekend.

The suspect is still outstanding.

The robbery occurred Saturday at 9:45 p.m. when the suspect, armed with a black handgun entered the business, 6973 S. Cougar Lane, and grabbed money from the register, said West Jordan police spokesman Sgt. Dan Roberts.

Roberts said the suspect turned to a customer and demanded their wallet and car keys. The man left in the scene in the victim’s white 2002 Chevy Tahoe.

Roberts said the Tahoe was found 10 blocks west of the Little Caesars in a cul-de-sac soon just after the robbery occurred. The vehicle was not damaged.

Neighbors told police the car was dropped off by woman. It appears, Roberts said, the suspect had help, at least after the robbery.

Police say the suspect is Asian or Hispanic and is about 40 years old. He is about 5 feet 10 inches tall and has a thin, muscular build.

The suspect was described as wearing a black shirt and pants with a colorful bandana around his face. He was also seen wearing a white brim had with a black band.

Anyone with information on the robbery is asked to call West Jordan police at 801-840-4000.
