PARK CITY, Utah -- A charitable organization in Summit County has a new name but remains true to the same cause.

Friends of Animals Utah in Park City is now called Nuzzles and Co. Pet Rescue and Adoption, and a local advertising agency donated their time to help the organization re-brand itself.

They said several animal welfare non-profits in Utah have similar names, which can create problems.

The switch to Nuzzles and Co. gives the group a unique identity, but it hasn't changed their core mission.

"We want to invite people who've never been to an adoption center or considered adoption to come in and look at the cats and dogs that we have available for adoption and hopefully adopt their next pet,” said Kathleen Toth, board president for the animal rescue.

The adoption center in the Tanger Outlets at Kimball Junction formerly known as Furburbia is also changing its name to Nuzzles and Co, giving the organization a consistent appearance at all of its locations.

As part of announcement regarding the name change, chalk art for Nuzzles and Co. was created at several parks in Salt Lake City, including Pioneer, Liberty and Sugar House Parks. Visit Nuzzles and Co. on Facebook by clicking here and see below for some of their posts from Saturday's events.
