WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah – A crash between a car and a truck on Bangerter Highway sent three people to the hospital.
It happened just before midnight at 4100 S. and Bangerter Highway in West Valley City.
Police say a Toyota Camry ran a red light at the intersection and crashed into a truck headed south on Bangerter.
Two men and one woman in the Camry were taken to the hospital; one of the men is in critical condition.
The driver of the truck was not hurt.
Police say it’s unclear why the car ran the red light.
Roads were closed in the area for several hours this morning.
