Many female celebrities have recently started speaking out about how Hollywood treats them.
Sandra Bullock is one of the latest to take a stand.
“It’s not because of who we are as people, it’s because of how we look or our age,” Bullock said.
In an interview with E! Online, she talked about being a woman in the spotlight saying, “It’s open hunting season” on women in media.
Bullock was recently named People’s most beautiful woman of 2015.
She said she is accepting the honor in part to use it as a platform to speak about these issues.
