The 5th Annual Road Respect Tour is underway with the aim to encourage cyclists and drivers to share the road.

Davis, Weber and Box Elder counties are all participating in the event.

The Road Respect Tour educates drivers and cyclists about the rules of the road and encourages mutual respect so that everyone gets safely home.

The Utah Department of Public Safety, the Utah Highway Patrol, Zero Fatalities, the Utah Department of Transportation and Bike Utah are working together with the hope to encourage safe cycling and to promote positive interactions between bicyclists and drivers.

The tour runs through June 20.
