GREENLAND, NH – This is the Trump card when it comes to notes excusing kids from school.

A 9-year-old New Hampshire boy, Ollie Olsen, missed school Monday to attend a presidential candidate’s event.

So when the boy’s teacher asked for the reason he missed class, he handed over the ultimate “doctor’s note.”

Hillary Clinton herself signed the boy’s note asking him to be excused from class.

Ollie didn’t meet Hillary but his grandmother, a retired school teacher, figured he would need a note.

So, Ollie left a note in a pile to be signed, the former Secretary of State did and then tweeted out a picture of the note to her 3.6 million followers.

“I said, ‘Wow, wait a minute, he’s leaving school. He better have a permission slip,'” Ollie’s grandmother Lee Delfausse said. “No teacher’s going to turn that one down, right?”

Then Tuesday the note was hand-delivered by the Clinton campaign.

“‘Wait, that’s not really Hillary Clinton that posted that?’ And he said ‘Oh yes it is,’ and I just said, ‘Ollie! We got to talk!’ And I freaked out a little bit and I think I scared him because I got so excited,” Ollie’s mom Sarah said.

What started as a blank envelope is now a souvenir and an important lesson for someone who is still too young to vote.

Ollie’s family said the Clinton campaign told them Clinton wants to meet their son when she returns to the area.
