The YWCA has been serving Utah women and their families since 1906, and in the last 40 years the group's efforts have dealt much with domestic violence. The YWCA offers a variety of services to give safe spaces and resources to women in dangerous situations, and they also work to empower women in other ways, like through leadership development programs or by offering childcare for working moms at market rates.

Amberlie Phillips, Chief Development Operating Officer for the YWCA in Utah, came to the FOX 13 News Studio Saturday to discuss their efforts, see the video above for her interview on what the YWCA offers.
