SOUTH SALT LAKE, Utah – Police are searching for a driver they said stole a car, ran from officers and crashed into an SUV overnight.
Cottonwood Heights Police tried to pull over a car near 1300 E. Fort Union around midnight.
Officers said the stolen Subaru station wagon sped off but police didn’t chase the car.
Less than an hour later the Subaru collided with a Jeep Cherokee near 2300 S. State St.
Police said three people in the Jeep had minor injuries.
The Subaru sped off and police are searching for the suspect.
