SALT LAKE CITY -- For the first time in a decade, the University of Utah Runnin' Utes have made it all the way to the Sweet 16 in the NCAA Tournament. Wednesday, fans gathered to send the team off on their date with Duke and destiny in Houston.

Head Coach Larry Krystkowiak spoke about the pending matchup against Duke: "There's a lot of reasons that they are as good as they are, and it certainly starts at the offensive end with a bunch of good players."

Coaches and players spoke earlier in the week about their thoughts on facing Duke in a Sweet 16 battle, click here for their comments.

Utah entered the tournament as a No. 5 seed, and they will face No. 1 seed Duke Friday at 7:45 p.m. at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas. The Utes have already faced and defeated No. 4 seed Georgetown and No. 12 seed Stephen F. Austin in the NCAA Tournament this year.
