Barista's Restaurant, across the street from Hurricane High, said it is getting slaughtered over the bull's extra-large rocky mountain oysters on the sign.

According to the St. George News, this is no cock-and-bull story; a stampede of residents said they feel the sign is offensive and that the longhorn's genitalia is blatantly overdone.

Some are raising the steaks, going as far as saying the sign is R-rated.

But Barista's owner, Stephen Ward, is grabbing the bull by the horns and getting to the meat of the matter.

Ward said real issue residents seem to have is with him, and that's no bull. He said he has a bull's eye on his back.

He spoke with FOX 13 News about the controversy, as did some of the of the upset residents.

The St. George News reported Ward went through the proper steps to get the sign approved before it was erected.

However, locals are showing them, if you mess with the bull, you get the horns.

See what the city now has to say about the bovine billboard it approved and what residents are doing about it from the St. George News.
