SEATTLE — Officials are searching for a suspect who was caught on video allegedly trying to kidnap a toddler from a park.
The Lincoln County Sheriffs Office in Eastern Washington said a 911 call reported a man had grabbed a 22-month-old child from a stroller in a park and ran.
The toddler's two young siblings ran after the man; their screams alerted others nearby who also ran after the alleged abductor.
The man accused in the attempted kidnapping abandoned Owen Wright in a vacant parking lot and ran off.
Officials said everyone was safe in the end and police are now working to catch the suspect before he has an opportunity to try again.
