Over the years, women have sworn by numerous home remedies to induce labor.
A very pregnant Florida woman, Bonnie Northsea, not only thought she’d give it a try but taped it for all her friends to see.
She posted her efforts on Facebook with an explanation.
“Someone told me Thriller would induce labor. Here I am on my due date 40 weeks looking like a fool. I’m so awesome!”
Her video on YouTube has hundreds of thousands of views and more than 1 million on Facebook.
She explained on YouTube the video has been a welcome distraction.
“My husband is fighting a battle with Testicular Cancer (just diagnosed a month ago) so it has been difficult emotionally recently. This video really helped as it has caused me to laugh over and over again.”
No word yet on whether Northsea’s attempts at inducing labor were successful.
