WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah — Police in West Valley City say a man who has followed nearly the same routine every day for several years has been missing for about a week, and they are asking for the public’s help locating him.

Robert Denner, 68, was last seen Thursday in the area of 3500 South 4800 West. The man is pictured to the right and is described as being 5-feet 8-inches tall and weighing about 155 pounds. The man has brown-gray hair and blue eyes as well as a brown-gray beard and mustache. He frequently wears a baseball cap with a military logo.

Police stated that Denner leaves for work, walks to a convenience store to buy a cup of coffee and then catches a ride to work with a coworker. They said he has followed that routine for years and that it is “highly unusual” for the man to be out of contact. He was last seen leaving for work on February 5.

Anyone who sees Denner or who has knowledge of his whereabouts is asked to call West Valley City police at 801-840-8000.
