A new program is bringing the excitement of a trip to the zoo to kids who aren't able to make the trip themselves, and the new channel from San Diego Zoo Global will be airing on televisions at Primary Children's Hospital and at Ronald McDonald House Charities in the Intermountain Area.

The effort is a partnership with the San Diego Zoo, Utah's Hogle Zoo, Primary Children's Hospital and Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Intermountain Area, and San Diego Zoo Kids brings a virtual adventure to children in hospitals who can't visit a zoo in person. FOX 13 News' Dave Nemeth has more on the program, see the video above for his report.
