HONOLULU, Hawaii -- Nearly one year ago, a young bride fell to her death while base jumping in Zion National Park.

Amber Bellows, 28, had only been married two weeks.

Now, her husband, Clayton Butler, 30, is dead after a paragliding accident in Hawaii.

Butler's friends said he was having a great time in O`ahu, and had even called his employer on Thursday to request a few more days to paraglide.

His fatal accident took place later on the same day.

Friends said the couple had adventure seeking in common. They began their marriage by taking a base jump from the Vegas hotel where they were staying for their honeymoon. Amber was dressed as Marilyn Monroe, and Clayton, as Elvis.

The 27-story jump was successful, but two weeks later, they weren't so lucky.

On Feb. 8, the couple hiked to the top of a cliff in Zion National Park. Amber jumped first, and fell 2,000 feet to her death after her parachute failed.
