CEDAR CITY, Utah – Police have arrested three suspects in connection with an armed robbery at a gas station, and they were able to locate the suspects after receiving multiple tips from citizens.

Cedar City police were initially searching for two people, a man and a woman, afterthe pair entered a Texaco convenience store earlier this week and the man displayed a knife and demanded money.

Police stated in a press release that after they issued the first press release and images of the suspects, they received multiple tips from the public regarding the identity of the suspects. Police pursued leads and made three arrests.

Victoria Elizabeth Fanton, 25; Louis Eleuterio Mcnealsandoval, 32; and Benjamin Michael Wulfenstein, 38, were all booked into the Iron County Jail on charges of aggravated robbery and theft. Police provided mugshots of two of the three suspects. Fanton and Mcnealsandoval’s addresses are in St. George, while Wulfenstein’s address lists him as being a resident of Elko, Nevada.

Police said Fanton and Mcnealsandoval were the ones who had entered the store, and that the man was the one who displayed a knife and then took cash. Officials said they learned during their investigation that Wulfenstein had allegedly been waiting in the vehicle as the pair entered the store and then drove them away when they fled.

Officials said that all suspects in the robbery are in custody, and they said they wanted to thank the members of the public who came forward and provided, “much-needed assistance, which led to the apprehension and arrest of the involved individuals.”
