SALT LAKE CITY  – Volunteers from Rowland Hall and the Crossroads Urban Center provided Christmas dinners for hundreds of Utah families in need on Tuesday.

Each family received everything needed for a Christmas dinner, with pies for dessert.

“The food’s donated from places like the Utah Food Bank, the University of Utah, through the Eccles Broadcast Center, so the money and food comes in from a lot of places,” said Mary Anne Wetzel, alumni director for Rowland Hall.

Wetzel says the Crossroads Urban Center needs donations of food or money all year long.
