3 Utah food pantries vie for Walmart grant

Three Utah food pantries are finalists for a $20,000 grant from Walmart.

Door Christian Fellowship Food Pantry in Magna, Jesus Feeds Food Pantry in Draper and Tabatha’s Way in Spanish Fork are vying for the funds.

To win the grant the community votes on which pantry should receive a share of the funds.

The Walmart contest has about 150 pantries competing for the grant money. Walmart will donate $1.5 million to 75 pantries throughout the country.
