SALT LAKE CITY - A store owner hoping for a successful Black Friday is now offering a cash reward for his stolen merchandise.

Police said thieves broke into the Interstate All Battery Center near 6th E. and 2100 S. Monday and helped themselves to high-end generators and other items reserved for the upcoming sale.

Authorities have released surveillance video in hopes someone can help identify the suspects who smashed the window with a rock and crawled into the store.

In the video the suspect takes three generators and hands them to another suspect outside.

Officials said the main suspect appears to be in his fifties with gray hair.

Employees said the man may have injured himself on the way out of the store, they found blood on the sidewalk.

Police would like to speak with anyone who has information in this case at (801) 799-3000.

A cash reward is available for information leading to the arrests of the suspects.
