SALT LAKE CITY – Investigators have a new clue in the case of three men considered missing and endangered after an SUV was found abandoned and bloody near 1500 South and Redwood Road.

Police said Thursday the SUV had a trailer with a green, four-seat Arctic Cat on it, and they said finding the trailer and ATV could help solve the case.

The vehicle was found abandoned Monday morning with an unharmed dog and bloodstains inside, and police are searching for Danny Gallegos, Braden Emerson and Levi Collins.

“This missing ATV and trailer, they represent another piece of the puzzle to help us resolve this, and that's why we’re urging the community to try to think back,” said Det. Dennis McGowan of the Salt Lake City Police Department. “It's Thursday today, but certainly last weekend, the ATV and the trailer and the SUV--they're all distinctive, and we believe that someone out there remembers or can recollect that they saw all three of them together.”

Anyone with information regarding the case is asked to call police at 801-799-300.
