PROVO, Utah -- Provo Police Detectives arrested a man Tuesday who they accused of stealing a tip jar from two Provo eateries.

Chad Washburn, 30, is suspected of taking the tip jar from the Provo Coffee Pod at 426 West Bulldog Blvd on October 26.

Police said Washburn acted again on October 29 when he swiped another jar from Provo Delipan Bakery, located at 335 S Freedom Blvd.  This time, it was a donation jar for a juvenile with cancer.

Both theft charges were enhanced to felonies due to previous theft convictions.

Washburn was arrested after multiple locals saw the Coffee Pod's security footage and called Provo Police.
