WEST JORDAN, Utah – A man died after being hit by a car in West Jordan Thursday night.
Officials with the West Jordan Police Department said the 65-year-old man was hit and killed by a car in the area of 2400 West 7800 South.
The man was in the intersection when he was struck, but specific details about the crash were not immediately clear.
Police said the man was taken to Intermountain Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
Investigators are on the scene and interviewing witnesses to determine what caused the crash. FOX 13 News will have more information as it becomes available.
