Manchester, CT (FoxCT) — The video would unnerve any parent with a child in daycare.

Taken on a cell phone at the daycare at 358 Hartford Road in Manchester, the video appears to show Devan L. Vanover, 25, holding a child’s head and screaming right into her ear. The child was crying for her blanket.

It’s unclear who took the video.

Vanover is next seen putting her hand on the child’s head to flip her around and then forced in the corner.

The video lead to Vanover’s arrest on charges of Risk Of Injury To A Minor, 3rd Degree Assault, and Disorderly Conduct.

She turned herself into police Thursday night, and was arraigned Friday afternoon.

During the arraignment, Vanover’s attorney said she’s been working at daycares since she was 16 years old… that she loves kids, and kids and their parents love her.

Vanover’s family ran three daycares, but the two in Tolland went out of business, according to her attorney.

The judge set bond at $45,000 with the stipulation that if Vanover posted bond, she was not to seek any employment involving kids.

Vanover is a mother of two, her attorney said, and the children are currently with Vanover’s parents pending the outcome of her case.

Vanover is due back in court November 19.
