FARMINGTON, Utah – Police apprehended two burglary suspects Sunday after a man arrived home to find two men with pillowcases full of his property leaving the premises, and a traffic camera on I-15 captured footage of the arrest.

The incident occurred in the area of 500 East 200 South in Farmington around 2:30 p.m., and when the suspects saw the homeowner returning they got into a vehicle and backed out of the driveway to flee, hitting the homeowner’s vehicle in the process.

Chief Wayne Hansen of the Farmington Police Department said a neighbor witnessed the suspects’ flight and followed in their own vehicle. That neighbor called police and was able to provide updates on the location of the suspects until police arrived to stop the vehicle and take the suspects into custody.

The pair pulled over on the Parrish Lane off-ramp from southbound I-15 and were arrested. Police said they have not yet been able to positively identify the suspects.

Utah Department of Transportation traffic cameras in the area showed police making an arrest, see the video above for that footage.
