EAGLE MOUNTAIN, Utah — Police are warning people who live in Eagle Mountain about a rash of crimes following the same formula.
Officials with the Utah County Sheriff’s Office said someone is breaking into unlocked vehicles at night and using the garage door opener to get inside homes.
Deputies said the crimes have been happening in the Silverlake area and that they have received multiple reports.
Officers will do extra patrols in these neighborhoods, but officials sad people need to remember to lock their cars and doors.
Police ask anyone who sees suspicious activity to call 801-794-3970 to report that activity to police.
