SPANISH FORK, Utah — A drug deal went wrong when the three customers held the seller at gunpoint, according to Spanish Fork police.

Ephraim residents Xavier Juvon Francis, 19, Dreshown Ashton Dean, 19, and Cedric Donald Everson, 25, had arranged to meet the victim at 600 N. 900 East in Spanish Fork to purchase marijuana from him, according to police.

Two of the three Ephraim men displayed handguns and then proceeded to hold the seller at gunpoint. They took the quarter-pound bag of marijuana and drove away, at which point the victim called police.

Officers located the suspect vehicle and performed a traffic stop. Inside the car they found the stolen cannabis, a .380-caliber handgun and two airsoft guns.

The men were arrested and booked into the Utah County Jail for aggravated robbery and several drug violations.

Police haven’t released the name of the victim, who could face charges for distribution of marijuana.
