MILLCREEK, Utah – It’s the second time in as many days a robber with nylon stockings over his face robbed a gas station in Salt Lake Valley.
The latest robbery happened just after midnight Friday morning at a Maverick near 27th S. and 20th E.
The store clerk told police a suspect came into the store, kept his hands in his pockets and said he had a gun.
Police said the suspect demanded money from the two registers on the counter.
The clerk complied but said he didn’t have access to the second register.
Investigators said the suspect caught on surveillance cameras looks similar to the suspect in the Glendale convenience store robbery the night before.
The suspect in both robberies is described as a Hispanic man with a short, heavy build.
Police said they would like to speak with you if you have any information.
