MURRAY, Utah — Sundays are always fun days at the Humane Society of Utah, but starting this Sunday a new promotion at “Kitty City” has been launched that aims to attract cat lovers.

Anyone who adopts a cat on a Sunday can now spin the “Wheel of Feline,” and the benefit depends on where the wheel stops, much like on the game show “Wheel of Fortune.”

Guinnevere Shuster, social media photography coordinator at Humane Society of Utah, said: “So we have this wheel here, and people can spin it–and whatever it lands on they get. So, for example, if I had just adopted a cat, I would have gotten five dollars off my adoption fee.”

Other prizes on the wheel include a free microchip, a cat toy or even a spot that means the entire adoption fee is waived. According to a press release from Humane Society of Utah, the “Fundays Sundays” promotion is only for cats between 7 months and 6 years of age.
