MIDVALE, Utah — Clothes, shoes, baby items, toys and bottled water were all being given away for free at the City Church’s new location in Midvale Sunday.
It was for the Big Give, where truckloads of donated items, which were collected throughout the year, were laid out for people to take.
This the fourth year they’ve done the event, and each year they do it in a different location. City Church’s Pastor, Chad Jacobson, said he’s happy to help as many people in the community as possible.
“There is a need in our city, and you know to see people come out like this and to be able to come and get free clothes, it’s just a real blessing for us and hopefully it’s a blessing for them.”
Any leftover items from the Big Give went to other charities, so City Church can start fresh collecting for next year’s event. For more information about City Church, visit their website.
