KEARNS, Utah -- Parks and Recreation and government officials took part in a formal groundbreaking for the second phase of a Salt Lake County regional park at Lodestone Park Monday.
The project was funded by a $47 million park bond approved by voters in 2012. The second phase of the park is about 25 acres.
When completed, the regional park will span 62 acres.
