COTTONWOOD HEIGHTS, Utah – Officers have a suspect in custody after he allegedly crashed his getaway bike while carrying stolen rifles.
Cottonwood Heights Police said the suspect is accused of stealing rifles, strapping them to the handlebars of a bicycle and then riding away.
Authorities said the suspect then crashed his bike into a power pole where they were able to arrest him.
Officials have not confirmed the suspect’s identity.
