Families homeless after apartment fire overnight in Salt Lake City

SALT LAKE CITY – An overnight apartment fire has left families homeless in Salt Lake City.

Officials were called to the blaze near 900 W. and 700 N. late Tuesday night.

Firemen said the flames damaged one apartment and another unit had water damage.

No one was injured.

Authorities have not confirmed what sparked the apartment fire.
