IRON COUNTY, Utah – A woman was arrested after she allegedly attempted to rob two anglers by blocking their vehicle with hers, threatening them, and beating on their vehicle with a tire iron.

Deputies from the Iron County  Sheriff’s Office were called to Yankee Meadows Reservoir Wednesday around 9:45 a.m., and when they arrived they found two men who had detained a female they said had attacked them.

The men, who were traveling from St. George to go fishing, told police the woman followed them from I-15 and to the Yankee Meadows Recreation Area. While still on the road, the woman moved her vehicle to block theirs.

The woman then got out and approached and allegedly began to beat on the car with a tire iron while demanding money from the two men. The two men exited the vehicle and were able to subdue the woman until deputies arrived to arrest her.

There were no injuries reported.

Siobahn Hall, a 29-year-old resident of Salt Lake County, was booked into the Iron County Jail on charges of aggravated robbery, aggravated assault, criminal mischief and unlawful detention.
