Big Budah’s Blog: Family time and helping the hungry

This week was a busy one indeed. I went to Lake Tahoe for the Lewis Family reunion and got to reconnect with cousins and nephews and nieces.

I was able to play a round of golf with my cousins to help raise money for the Utah Food Bank in their annual Drive Out Hunger Charity Golf Tournament. I was able to get up and down the course with little or no difficulty, thanks in big part to the weight I’ve lost.

I am coming up on 18 months since my surgery, and I feel great and have continued humility about the new lease on life I have with every new day. Thank you BMI Utah, Salt Lake Regional Medical Center, FOX 13, all of you, my family and Doctors Cottam and Richards.
